How to View All Comments in Google Docs – Even Resolved Ones

  • by

The comments feature in Google Docs makes collaborative working simple. Once you share the document with your co-workers with commenting or editorial rights, they can make comments to it.

But, how do you see those comments? What if a comment has been resolved accidentally and you want to check it again or re-open it? Or what if the comments in Google Docs disappeared or they are not showing up?

Luckily, there is a solution to all those questions. It takes a few clicks and we’re going to show you how to open all the comments made in the document, even the resolved ones.

How to see all comments in google docs

To see the comments, open your document and look for the comment button in the top-right corner of the page.

Clicking this button allows you to view the entire history of the comments made in this document. All open and resolved comments can be viewed by scrolling the window that opens by clicking the button.

You can easily see in which part of the document the comment was made on and its resulting discussion.

You can also re-open comments by clicking ‘Re-open’.
