Subscriptions are automatically renewed upon the periods mentioned at the time of purchase. It is better to follow up on your subscriptions after every month, sometimes even you have forgotten what you’ve signed up for. You can cancel the ones you don’t need anymore. You can refer to the below-mentioned steps on how to cancel subscriptions on iPhone?
Cancel subscription on iPhone, iPad, or iPod
- Go to your iPhone’s settings.
- Tap on your name and view apple ID on the top. Sign in if prompted.
- Tap on subscriptions, you might be asked for your Apple ID password, face ID, or touch ID.
- Find and review the list of your subscription, tap if you want to know more about or cancel a certain subscription.
- This list will have your all old and new subscriptions. If you don’t find any of your subscriptions, make sure that you’ve logged in with the correct Apple ID.
- Tap cancel the subscription or cancel the free subscription at the bottom of the screen.
- You’ll get a pop-up saying your subscription will expire on the said date.
- Tap confirm to complete confirmation for cancellation.
- Reminder: You will still have a subscription or the free trial period before its current expiration date. Better to make the most of it.

- Go to app store> your profile> Subscriptions. This will take you to the same screen as above, follow the same steps to cancel your subscription.
Cancel subscription on Mac
You can use the app store app to cancel your subscription on Mac.
- Open the app store on your system.
- Select sign-in or your name at the bottom left.
- Go to view the information at the top. Sign in with your Apple ID, if prompted.
- Go to subscriptions > manage. You’ll get the list of your subscription.
- Click on edit next to any subscription you want to cancel.
- Click on cancel subscription or cancel the free trial.
Cancel subscription on Apple TV
- Go to settings > Accounts on your Apple TV.
- Go to subscriptions and select manage subscription.
- Select your desired subscription, then click on cancel subscription.
Cancel subscription on iTunes
- Open iTunes, sign in with your Apple ID.
- Go to your account > view my account.
- Scroll down to settings and click on manage next to the subscription.
- Find the subscription you want to cancel and click on edit.
- Click on cancel subscription or cancel the free trial.
- Pop up will come up highlighting the current subscription end date and click on confirm to cancel the subscription.
Cancel on Apple Watch
- Open the app store on your Apple Watch.
- Scroll down and tap Account> subscriptions.
- Tap on the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap on the cancel subscription.
If you are unable to cancel any of your subscriptions, you might have already canceled them. Find the message at the bottom of your subscription it will tell you the expiration date of the subscription. Your membership will renew automatically if you don’t cancel your subscription 24 hours before the renewal date.
